2026

"When the king asked the woman, she told him [everything]. So the king appointed for her a certain high official, saying, “Restore everything that was hers, including all the produce of the field since the day that she left the land until now.” 2 Kings 8:6

​

2026 is the year of Restoration. One of the Names of Jehovah God is Jehovah Rapha. It literally means the God Who Heals. To heal is to restore health. You cannot be healed and still stay sick. If you say you are healed, then you are no longer sick. In Luke 17

           And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified             God,

            And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.

           And Jesus answering said, were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?

           There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.

          And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

          All ten were healed of leprosy but only one was made whole.

When the woman with issue of blood touched Jesus, her faith made a withdrawal from Jesus’ virtue. “Who touched me?” Jesus was surrounded by crowds, and everyone was trying to touch him, but He asked, “Who touched me?” that was a deliberate touch, an on-purpose touch knowing that a touch would make a difference. Jesus response to her was your faith has made you whole. The woman had lost all she had by doing whatever she could do to get healed she went to specialists; she tried everything she possibly could. I believe that she was fully restored of everything that she had lost because of her faith. You see the only thing that moves God is FAITH.

The Shunamite woman was generous to Elijah; she built him an accommodation and cared for him whenever he was in town. Because of her generosity, Elijah blessed her and she bore a son. The son died and was restored to life. Later Elijah warned her about a famine and told her to leave to escape the famine. When she returned 7 years later, she had lost her land and all she owned. She went to the king to plead her case and as she entered Gehazi the servant of Elijah was telling the king of all the miracles of Elijah and as he was talking the Shunamite woman and her son walked in. Gehazi said this is the woman I was telling you about. When the king asked the woman, she told him [everything]. So, the king appointed for her a certain high official, saying,

                  “Restore everything that was hers, including all the produce of the field since the day                           that  she left the land until now.” 2 Kings 8:6

For restoration to take place there must be an ACT of FAITH. The leper decided to go to Jesus and fall at his feet and say thank you. The woman with the issue of blood said to herself if I can just touch the hem of the garment and the Shunamite woman said I will go to the king.

2026 is your opportunity to do something. No matter where you are what you have done, no matter how bad or good 2025 was for you 2026 is your year of total restoration. We don’t know how long the leper was in his condition. We know the woman with the issue of blood suffered for 12 years and the Shunammite woman lost it all in 7 years.

​

The creator of the universe looks at you today and says you are the “apple of His eye”. He will not allow anything to happen to you, but he is only obligated to act when you ACT in FAITH.  Let’s not look back at what might have been, what could have been, 2025 is now behind us – don’t look back look ahead. 2026 is your time to ACT. Your restoration is an Act away.

Ps 89:34 “My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.”
